If you plan to work and reside in Australia and you are eligible for this permanent residence work visa. Certain foreign nationals who are qualified to work in Australia’s skilled Occupations List may be qualified to apply for the Subclass 190 visa to Australia.

The applicant has to pass a test on their skills and be approved by a territory or state government. In order to be eligible in this Visa (Subclass 90) that allows you to obtain permanent residence in any part of Australia through the recommendation of a relative who’s a permanent resident or a citizen of Australia –

Requirements for applying Subclass 190

  • You must score the minimum of 60 marks during your Points Test.
  • You must be less than 50 at the time you apply.
  • You need to prove that you are Qualified English (minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for each component)
  • You must hold a postsecondary qualification.
  • You need to choose an occupation that matches your qualifications and skills.
  • The occupation you are applying for must be within the latest Skilled Occupations List.
  • Before you can apply you must get your abilities assessed by the Australian assessor who is designated to examine your job.
  • You will need to prove that you were employed for a minimum of twelve months within any profession that is listed in the Skilled Occupations List within the past two years.
  • You must have a family member who lives in Australia that is Australian national or permanent resident, and who is willing to be your sponsor.
  • You must be in healthy health and have an exam for medical conditions.
  • You must prove that you have exemplary character (by showing (a) police Clearance Certificate(s))
  • Process for applying for a Skilled Nominated Work Visa (Subclass 190)?

Step 1: Check whether your job is listed included on the Skilled Occupation Lists. The 190 Visa Australia can only be available to those who meet the requirements of this list.

Step 2: Verify that you meet all eligibility conditions

You must meet the criteria to receive the certificate.

  • Aged less than 50
  • Basic English abilities
  • Meet the health standards
  • Meet the requirements for character

Step 3: Complete a Skills Assessment
